No Champagne, No Gain

Summertime is quickly approaching and there’s nothing like a nice, cold, refreshing glass of bubbly! Champagne is literally one of my favorite drinks and it’s typically my go-to. It’s good at anytime of the day and it’s appropriate anytime of the year. Whether it’s a bottle of prosecco, cava or a basic bottle of champagne, there’s a ton of things you can add to make a delicious cocktail that’ll be sure to elevate your next brunch or day party. Check out some of my favorite cocktail recipes that include bubbly below!

Grapefruit Mimosa

Yes, you read that right! We’ve all partaken in your typical bottomless mimosas with orange juice, but using grapefruit instead takes it a step further. You can use Ruby Red or White Grapefruit. If you want to add a little extra flare, garnish with a fresh slice of grapefruit, coated in sugar! Yummy!

St. Germain + Champagne

Simple, sweet and bourgeois! St. Germain is a French elderflower liqueur. It has a very subtle, sweet flavor and that makes it a perfect addition to bubbly. It has notes of pear, peach, lemon and jasmine! Just a splash will do, but you can add as much as you’d like. If you can’t find St. Germain, you can substitute Grand Marnier, which is a premium, French orange flavored liquor.

French 75

This classic cocktail dates back to early 1900s, as far back as World War I. Traditionally, it is made with gin, but you can also make it with cognac. My favorite way to enjoy a French 75 is by combining simple syrup, lemon juice and cognac. After shaking these 3 ingredients with ice, I strain the mixture into a glass and top it with champagne. Enjoy!

Pineapple Prosecco Punch

This punch is so damn good! It’s easy to make, takes less than 5 minutes to make and you can make a lot if you’re expecting a crowd. All you need is pineapple juice, orange juice and the bubbly of your choice. You can garnish with a pineapple wedge and sprig of rosemary! Delicious!
